Arizona nonprofit promotes community inclusion for families impacted by Autism and non-visible disabilities
As changemakers, Solar Pool Technologies believes it is important to support and share the missions of organizations seeking to create innovative change in communities. Pal Experiences is one nonprofit organization that is very dear to our heart. Currently, a percentage of every website purchase of the Solar-BreezeNX2 is donated to this wonderful nonprofit. This Arizona Gives Day, we’d like to give you the opportunity to support Pal, too.
Did you know that one in six children in the U.S. has a developmental disability, including autism? Seventy percent of impacted families feel socially isolated. Pal Experiences was created to help more than 40 million Americans with non-visible disabilities to more successfully engage in their communities. Pal creates digital tools that connect individuals and families impacted by autism and related intellectual and developmental disabilities with businesses and public venues inspired to offer them a better customer experience. Pal is a Phoenix-based startup social enterprise with a vision of developing a vast network of “Pal Place” partners in entertainment, hospitality, education, healthcare, and beyond.
Arizona Gives Day is an annual giving movement that unites nonprofits, big and small, new and established, to celebrate and increase philanthropy in through online giving. The event helps raise awareness about the critical role nonprofits play in our communities and inspires people to give generously creating a thriving and stronger community for all. Take a moment to donate to Pal Experiences to further their mission of connecting families impacted by autism and other development disabilities with business inspired to offer them a better customer experience.
“My young grandson has a developmental disability, so the work Pal Experiences is doing in our community hits especially close to home,” said Denis Ruzsa, inventor of the Solar-Breeze NX2. “We are honored to partner with this amazing local nonprofit so they can continue making a critical difference for so many families like ours.”
Not only can you support Pal’s mission by giving on April 2, but you can also support them by visiting one of their many Pal Places – we know not everyone reading this lives in Arizona like we do, so why not check out Flowerchild which has locations all over the nation. Or, the next time you’re in the Valley, make a stop at the OdySea Aquarium, Phoenix Herpetological Sanctuary, or Butterfly Wonderland.
Funding Pal Experiences receives through Arizona Gives Day goes directly toward families impacted by autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities. The organization offers these families tickets to events with venue partners to remove the financial barrier that can prevent them from trying out new experiences.
