What kind of debris does the Solar-Breeze NX2 collect?
Potential customers often ask, ‘What kind and size of debris will the Solar-Breeze NX2 collect from the surface of my pool?’ The answer is that is collects 95% of all large and micro-sized debris.
The stainless-steel screen in the bottom of the Solar-Breeze NX2’s debris tray is a very fine mesh – 70 threads per inch, which filters down to 100 microns.
“Essentially, anything you can see floating on the surface of your pool will be removed by the Solar-Breeze NX2,” said Paul Sim, president of Solar Pool Technologies. “Many customers love that it picks up sun tan oil, small plant pollens, and a variety of bugs and small critters that hang out on the surface.”
In addition to micro-debris, the Solar-Breeze NX2 has been reported to gather larger debris like palm fronds, maple leaves and gum tree leaves. “Every once in a while, NX2 owners get surprised by a field mouse, a small snake, or a brave lizard that has found itself in the path of our awesome pool skimming robot,” said Paul.
Whatever it is that is making your pool surface dirty, you can rely on the Solar-Breeze NX2 to keep the water sparkling clean and swim ready all year long. Check out these customer photos:
