Florida is the golf capital of the world. Golf courses spread fertilizers that contain phosphates which are often introduced to pools through wind. The phosphates act as a superfood for algae and can turn a perfectly clear pool into a swampy green mess, sometimes overnight.
“I began turning down pools that were not screened in because they were not worth my time, chemicals or client money,” said Jared. “My rates where much higher than most homeowners were willing to pay just so that I could cover costs. I could serve up to four screened pools in the same amount of time that an unscreened pool took. It simply was not cost effective for my business.”
With a philosophy to ‘do it right the first time or don’t bother doing it all’, Blue Envy Pools expanded businesses by once again serving unscreened pools when the Solar-Breeze NX2 came into the picture. When Jared creates a quote for an unscreened pool owner, he provided a price with the Solar-Breeze NX2 and a price without. “I show them that a very reasonable upfront cost will save them a ton of money in the long-run, and that their pool will stay much cleaner between sessions which allows them to continuously enjoy the pool.”

‘If I buy the Solar-Breeze NX2, why do I need you?’ is a question that Jared has been asked a few times. “I remind them that while the pool skimmer does a great job keeping the pool free of debris, balancing the pool’s water chemistry is not really its strong suit,” said Jared. “The Solar Breeze keeps the pool clean day in and day out – I come once a week to make sure the water is healthy and safe for their family.”
