New to Market App Helps Pool Professional Tighten Routes

The Solar-Breeze NX2 is a useful and convenient tool for pool maintenance technicians to offer to their customers because it makes their stops more efficient. We are proud to support other inventions and technology that act as incredible resources to members of the pool industry.

Phoenician Joe Wilmot has developed Pool Trader App. It is completely free to users and allows pool maintenance technicians to buy, sell and trade pool accounts. It currently has more than 1,100 members and is currently used in 11 states and three countries. “The purpose of this app is to get every pool company in the nation to work with each other to maximize profit and most importantly minimize time spent between each stop,” said Wilmot. “How awesome would it be to have your daily route in the same zip code or neighborhood?  Or even better, the same street?! It’s now possible.”

Wilmot started H2Joe Pool Service & Repair from the ground up ten years ago, and it had 70 active clients before he sold it to focus on Pool Trader App. When he first started, he took any work he could get and would drive 45-minutes in every direction of the Valley. “I would pass other pool company trucks and think, ‘Is he cleaning pools 30-minutes from his house, too?’”

Pool Trader App was formed in 2019 as the single free network for pool professionals to tighten their routes and help other local companies do the same. “I went from driving almost 300 miles per week to under 50! No exaggeration,” said Wilmot. “I made more money and worked way less each day. It took me eight years to get my route into a five-mile radius. My hope is that this app can help pool professional get tighter routes in a fraction of the time it took me.”

So far, the customer experience has yielded fantastic feedback.

With tightened routes always in mind, Wilmot is a huge supporter of the Solar-Breeze NX2. “What cleans your pool nearly seven days each week? Not me! It’s your equipment. My job is to make sure your equipment is working properly and that the chemistry is right. The Solar-Breeze NX2 is the best thing to put in a pool if there is a lot of foliage,” he said.

“In my opinion, the major selling point of the Solar-Breeze NX2 is the shortened pool pump run time,” said Wilmot. “Pool professionals often have the pool pump running just to keep up with the debris verses turning the water over at least once a day. The robot helps with the debris at no cost on the electric bill.”
